Congrats on the training! Loved the Bold Type as well. Just on here to also recommend "Shrinking" on Apple TV if you're a big fan of Ted Lasso (Roy Kent is a producer) :) Good luck on your long run!
I ran the Glass City Marathon in 2019, and I had a VERY specific Spotify playlist formula, which I swear helped me PR. I started off with a few songs , then mixed it up with a few comedians, then more songs, then more comedians, so on… At where my goal 20 mile was going to be, I found a really cheesy motivational speech on Spotify. I swear this helped me push. Then following that was my personal pump up jams that took me to the finish. I finished 5 minutes under my goal time. I did leave about a half an hour of music from my favorite band just in case that day did not go my way, but I didn’t end up needing it.
Good luck, and I hope you have so much fun rest of your training cycle!
I leave out the siracha because I can't do spicy. I make a batch of the sauce Sunday and then cook it up during the week with the veggies and use regular soba noodles instead of sweet potato noodles.
I also second what someone else suggested - Shrinking is great show if you're looking for something new to watch.
My dad would tell you, "Get a Speed Queen dryer because it has real metal parts instead of plastic. Plastic in appliances will go bad." So, there's Mr. V's advice. :D
Loved (with a capital "L") the conversation with K-Money this week. Looking forward to the JOY-FULL (all caps) Jess Movold and the solo Ali episodes on my long run Saturday!
Speed Queen. We replaced ours recently and the Warranty you can’t beat! Training for my first 10k and getting friends back into running. Thank you for the inspiration.
No dryer advice, just here to say thank you for the training recap, it’s real and I love it! Do you incorporate strength training? If so, how often per week?

I LOVE all the updates on your marathon training! The episode with Kaitlin and Meghann was so good that I might even listen again!

We just had to replace our washer and dryer, entire hvac system, and buy a car last year 🫠 SO FUN. We really like ours here:
