I’m feeling Meh as well. The political climate is stressful and scary. Tried training for a half marathon in March but ended up with so much pain I both knees in had to take 3 weeks off from running. Hopefully I can get back on track though and I’m hoping to do the Eugene half! Which I’m even more excited about. Happy January 71st, tomorrow is a new month. I hope February is smoother, happier, and brings joy to everyone.

SAME! 2024 was a nightmare and January has taken FOREVER . . . ready for some light, some spring, some good news, anything better!

Same! I had torn my hamstring last year and just started back running in September then went to Key West to run some races a couple weeks ago and ended up with a broken foot so had to do the last race of the weekend (half marathon) on crutches! Now waiting for the broken foot to heal so I can hopefully run the NYC half in March with my daughter. I can’t win and good luck with your foot too!

I am imploring the universe for a do over and can we please replace the current 2025 nightmare with some kindness, love, and caring for our fellow human beings. Since that is apparently to much to ask I plan to keep training, do less doom scrolling and listen to more Ali. Thank you Ali for being you. We got this.❤️💪

I done RED January UK this year which is RISE EVERY DAY. So every day in January you have to do something that makes you get up and go i made sure I done at least 10 minutes of exercise every day and I have honestly never enjoyed January more. It was like a little mini challenge and I feel so good having completed it 😁😁

Last day of the longest month ever!!!! We did it..almost! The year can only go up from here. Love that you and Annie got so much time together. What core memories you’re making and kudos to you for getting off the internet for a full day to hang with her.

January hit me with a 10 day flu and then the unexpected death of a beloved childhood friend. After that, a stomach bug. And…this monster of a President messing up everything for so many vulnerable people. So 2025 not off to the best start. Thank goodness for running. Currently training for the NYC half…I missed a lot of training when I was sick so just hoping to cover the miles. No PR this time. But I love that race and this community.

Agreed; this has been a long month, and at the same time flew by as I cannot believe it will be February tomorrow. I think it was all the fear, worry, and angst about our current leadership, coupled with the truly apocalyptic wildfires, deeply cold weather, and seemingly daily bad news. So ready for more daylight ( literally and figuratively), warmth, and dare I say boring news cycle?? You are doing better than I by embracing winter and physically getting out there to ski 😊 Keep going. We’ve got this, right? ❤️

You are doing all the right things by getting outside. That saves me in the winter. BTW-I am intrigued by the kitchen drawer organizer but the link isn’t working for me.
